Meet Floof! He was a South Park TNR kitty, living outside as a stray with his siblings. We immediately noticed an issue with his eye and after his neuter, a foster decided to keep him inside to get him vet care through the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. The vet recommended enucleation, as he was born with a congenital defect which has harmed the eye past the point of return and is causing him obvious discomfort. The good news is, he will live a long, happy life with just one eye!

The estimate for the surgery is around $700. Upon completion of the surgery, Floof will stay inside with his foster and go up for adoption, since living outside with one eye leaves him at greater risk. He is so sweet and cute, he surely won't have a problem finding a loving home!
