Helping Kye get back on her feet again
Imagine losing every single thing you own in a matter of minutes. My best friend of 25 years, Kye, doesn't have to imagine it—she’s living it. After a year of fighting tooth and nail to find stability, a devastating fire (currently under investigation) just claimed her camper, her clothes, her shoes, and every memory she had left.
Kye is the person who keeps others alive when they are at their darkest. She saved my life when I was in a hole I couldn’t climb out of. Now, she’s the one in the dark. She’s too proud to ask for help, but she literally has nothing but the clothes on her back.
Where your money goes:
We aren’t just "fundraising"; we are buying the basics for survival:
Winter Gear: It’s February in Michigan. She needs a coat, boots, and warm clothes immediately.
Mobility: Her car is currently broken down, leaving her stranded without a way to get to appointments or find a new path forward.
Basic Dignity: Toiletries, food, and restoring some faith in humanity while she starts over from zero.
If Kye has ever made you laugh, or if you just believe that nobody should have to face a Michigan winter with literally nothing, please give what you can. Even $20—the price of a pizza—makes a massive difference right now.
Please help me show Kye that she isn't alone in those ashes.
