Luke Virgilio is a TGNC Neurodivergent Arts Activist and founder of the Chicago Trans Movement Festival.

On July 22, 2026 Luke was fired by their non-TGNC employer... just over 24 hours after reporting instances of abuse, retaliation, and intimidation by non-TGNC leadership. Ze submitted over 50 pages of documentation, offer of witnesses, and requested an investigation into similar behavior from leadership towards other employees spanning years. Luke was notified of their termination just over 24 hours later.

Luke's ability to teach aerial, their main source of income, has been stripped until they can afford to buy individual teacher insurance.
