Milo wants to go back on the job
Milo takes care of everyone else on the farm. He watches over the old and blind ones, and makes sure everyone is safe. But now Milo needs to be taken care of.
Recently he collapsed and was unable to use his hind legs. We had to rush him to the ER.
Milo hates to be indoors, but he had to spend 3, long, icky days at the hospital. He underwent radiographs, had bloodwork done, and then an MRI. He refused to eat the entire time. He had a catheter and he said, "that was the WORST." Milo is a proud dog and this was all very embarrassing. Now he is on house rest (he calls it house arrest) and taking medications to reduce a cyst that is pressing on his spine.
How lucky we are that he did not have to have surgery.
We have progress! He's now able to stand on his own without support, but still has some neurological symptoms, and will go back to the neurologist at the end of the month. We are asking for help with a third of his medical costs. We know it's a lot. But Milo is worth every penny. Thank you for helping!
