From the moment she was born with a heart defect, Everlasting 'Grace', our beloved six-year-old Newfoundland, has been a living miracle. Against all odds, she survived a risky heart surgery as a puppy, showing a resilience that has inspired everyone who meets her.

Grace has since dedicated her life to healing others. At just over a year old, she became a registered Therapy Dog with Pet Partners and joined our Newfie Therapy team in Tennessee and Western North Carolina. Grace spreads joy, love, and comfort to students, teachers, first responders, and Veterans, touching countless lives with her sweet, gentle nature. Her extraordinary bond with Pilgrim, a therapy horse, symbolizes her heart’s capacity to love unconditionally.

But now, Grace needs us.

Yesterday, Grace suffered a sudden, life-threatening pyometra infection. She was rushed into emergency surgery, but during the operation, her heart stopped. A second surgeon worked heroically to restart it, and though she survived the procedure, Grace remains in critical condition at the Emergency Clinic.

This courageous soul who has given so much to others is now fighting for her own life.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing therapeutic services for those in need, but emergencies like this stretch our resources to their limits. We are humbly asking for your help to cover Grace’s emergency surgery and ongoing care.
