Local news needs your support
Support Local Journalism and Local Charities
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought the local economy — and many of the businesses who support us — to a standstill.
During this unprecedented time, we continue to share the critical stories that readers expect — interest in our news coverage is higher than it’s been in our lifetimes — but these efforts are almost impossible to sustain with the economy on lockdown. If you believe local journalism is essential, especially during this crisis, please consider a tax-deductible donation.
Donate today and we will double your donation amount! We are committed to the health and sustainability of our community, every donation of $50 or more made between May 5th - May 15th will be doubled in value in the form of digital advertising made available to the local non-profit organization of your choice. The designated organization must be a local, nonprofit, Section 501(c)(3) organization that is eligible to accept charitable contributions. Please designate the the local non-profit organization of your choice in your comment when making your donation, we will take it from there.
Contributions to this fund will help to cover the costs of COVID-19 coverage in our communities. Your donation will be directed through the Local Media Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that is supporting hundreds of news outlets throughout the country and will be directed to us in the amount you indicate. Your support will help us continue our long tradition of objective local news coverage.
Thank you for your support during this unprecedented time!
