Healing Heroes Through Horsemanship empowers Veterans and First Responders on California's central coast through equine-assisted programs and vocational horsemanship training, while also actively supporting the retraining and rehoming of retired racehorses. Why We Exist:

• 31% of America’s homeless Veteran population resides in California, with over 70% currently unsheltered. Our Elite Vocations program equips at-risk Veterans with employable skills in the equine industry, enhancing mental health and resilience to reduce future risks of homelessness, suicide, and other challenges facing Veterans.
• Suicide rates are exceptionally high among Veterans and First Responders. Our Healing Heroes equine-assisted behavioral wellness programs support these heroes' mental health, resilience, and overall well-being.

• Elite Vocations: Empower American Veterans with employable skills and housing benefits through our certified horsemanship training programs.
• Healing Heroes: Help Veterans, First Responders, and their families build resilience and find hope through our equine-assisted behavioral wellness programs.
