“Celebrating 50 Years of Cubcat Excellence” benefit Hendersonville Elementary School

Each year, Cubcats Run And Walk for Learning, all in an effort to support the needs of Hendersonville Elementary School. The proceeds of this event help us achieve the financial goals we have set, as approved by Principal Kim Henderson, for the 2022-23 school year.

This year, we anticipate over 500 participants, including hundreds of children from HES and surrounding schools, along with dozens of volunteers that will help ensure a successful race. The course will be located throughout the beautiful neighborhood surrounding Hendersonville Elementary.

Opportunities include Art & Music Teacher for a Day, Librarian for a Day, PE Teacher for a Day, Principal for a Day, and STEM Teacher for a Day. By registering for the Cubcat CRAWL, you accept that neither the Henderson County Board of Education, nor any of their employees, teachers, sponsors, agents, or volunteers will assume responsibility for claims resulting from injury to you or your child during participation in this event.

By completing this registration, I release the Henderson County Board of Education employees, teachers, sponsors, agents, and volunteers from any responsibility for claims resulting from injury to myself, and/or my child(ren), while involved in the Cubcat CRAWL. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Henderson County Board of Education, employees, teachers, sponsors, agents, or volunteers from any and all claims, actions and causes of actions which might hereafter be entered against it or them on account of any injuries or property damage sustained by such child or adult, such indemnity to run to court costs, attorney’s fees, judgments, settlements and other expenses and without limitation.

Media release: Event registration also grants Hendersonville Elementary School and others associated with the HES Cubcat CRAWL, the right and permission to use and publish the photographs/film/videotapes/electronic representations and/or sound recordings made regarding the event. It hereby releases these groups from any and all liability from such use and publication, as well as authorizes the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, electronic storage and/or distribution of said photographs/film/videotapes/electronic representations and/or sound recordings without limitation at the discretion of those associated with the event and specifically waives any right to compensation for any of the foregoing.

This is a non-sanctioned race. We are here for fun and exercise. A clock will be available during the event, but times will not be recorded. Thank you for joining us! All sales are final.
