Support Georgiana Opry House This Giving Tuesday

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Georgiana Opry House,

As we approach Giving Tuesday this December 2, 2025, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each person who has helped us on our journey of restoring the Opry House — especially those who responded generously when we asked for help rebuilding the roof.

Thanks to your faith in us, the Opry House has risen again: the new roof is more than just that — it's hope restored, a future secured, and a safe gathering place re-established for music, story, community, and shared memories. What once threatened to silence our beloved landmark is now a strong foundation under which laughter, song, and togetherness will flourish once more. 

Because of you, we were able to complete Phase 1 of our plan — and even finish four months ahead of schedule. That would have been unimaginable without your generosity, your belief in our mission, and your willingness to stand with us when the rain fell hard.

In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, we warmly invite you — our Opry House family, friends, neighbors, and supporters — to help us take the next steps in our restoration and revitalization work. Your continued donations will allow us to:

• Make the Opry House a welcoming place again, with new lighting, seating, and improved interiors for performers and guests.

• Resume music, art, and cultural events for people of all ages — from local concerts and movie nights to educational programs and community celebrations.

• Preserve a precious piece of musical heritage, honoring the legacy of Hank Williams Sr. and all those who played on this very stage generations ago.

Here’s what your gift can do this Giving Tuesday:

• A $1,000 donation covers the cost of entertainment for upcoming events next year.

• A $500 donation helps pay for event utilities.

• A $200 donation brings movie nights, school events, and family-friendly gatherings back to our theater.

• A $5 donation made by each of our followers would help us make essential interior repairs, improve seating and lighting, and continue restoring our historic Alabama music landmark for future generations.
