Every year, thousands of young adults age out of foster care with no family, no housing, and no safety net. Hickstory was created to change that.

This holiday season, we are launching Home for the Holidays, a campaign dedicated to raising our first major funding to support:

🎄 Transitional housing for young adults ages 18–26
🎄 Life-skills & financial literacy training
🎄 GED & college prep support
🎄 Therapy and mental health connections
🎄 Emergency assistance for youth fleeing abuse or homelessness

Many of our team members grew up facing similar challenges. We know firsthand what it means to be alone during the holidays — and what it means to finally have support.

This year, instead of gifts…
we’re asking you to help us create safety, stability, and opportunity for youth who have nowhere else to go.

Our Goal:
⭐ $25,000 by December 31st
This will jump-start our programs, cover space rental for workshops, provide transportation for youth, fund basic needs kits, and begin building our transitional housing fund.

Every donation — big or small — directly supports a young person’s journey to independence.
