Let's all go to Higgy Con together!! Higgy Con is a very special event specifically for kids and teens with scoliosis and their parents & siblings. At Higgy Con, 400 kids and teens will come together for 2 days of fun, love and support. We will play scoliosis themed games, do scoliosis themed crafts, make new friends and learn about ways to make their scoliosis journeys a bit more bearable.

I know that costs may be a barrier for some families, and am creating this fundraiser to help!

How to Join:

Click fundraise and set up your account. Add your photo and share your story. Explain to friends and family why you want to go to Higgy Con 2025!
Set your goal (see costs breakdown below).
You will get a custom link once you sign up.
Share, share, share your custom link. Share with friends, family, co-workers, social media supporters and local businesses.

Costs Breakdown:

Higgy Con Tickets- $150 each
Hotel Room- $150 a night (with taxes)
Water Park Tickets- $35 each

Total Needed: (The waterpark option includes an extra hotel night.)

Family of 2- No Waterpark- $750
Family of 2- With Waterpark: $970
Family of 3- No Waterpark- $900
Family of 3- With Waterpark- $1,155
Family of 4 - No Waterpark- $1,050
Family of 4- With Waterpark- $1,340
Family of 5- No Waterpark- $1,200
Family of 5- With Waterpark- $1,525

Any extra funds raised will be used to help other families attend.

What it Does Not Cover:

Gas & Airplane Tickets (You can always collect money via Venmo, PayPal etc. for travel costs.)

Notes:

All funds will stay with Higgy Bears and will be credited towards your hotel stay, ticket and waterpark costs.
Funds will not be sent to you individually or refunded to you.
I understand that airplane tickets are a significant costs for families, too. By freeing up the money you would have otherwise spent on tickets and the hotel, hopefully that will help you more easily afford the airplane tickets or gas money. Once the fundraiser closes, you can always ask your supporters to contribute separately to you individually through Venmo/PayPal to help cover your plane tickets. That would be done by you, not through this fundraiser.

What if I already paid for my tickets? Will I receive a refund? - Yes, but please reach out to me.
What if I end up not being able to go to Higgy Con?- The funds raised will stay with Higgy Bears and be used to let another familiy come to Higgy Con.
What if I do not meet my goal? - That's okay! You will get credit for the amount that you raised. For example, if you raised $500, that will still go towards first Higgy Con tickets, and then the remainder will go towards covering part of your hotel stay.
When does the fundraiser end? - It will end 1/31
