High Talent Scholarship Donor $5000

The High Talent Scholarship supports one full year of high-impact conservatory-style education for one student, who demonstrates high musical talent, extreme passion for music, dedication and commitment. Students for High Talent Scholarship will be chosen through a rigorous audition process, consisting of an audition in front of OCM faculty, trial lesson with a faculty member and musical predisposition testing (which includes testing of pitch, rhythm, harmonic hearing, memory). Scholarship students will need to re-audition every year for scholarship consideration, and will undergo periodic evaluations of progress and commitment. Parents of prospective High Talent Scholarship students must show proof of financial need.

Scholarship provides the selected student with six hours of weekly instruction:

Twice weekly 45 minute private lessons with top OCM faculty
Chamber Ensemble (string quartet, piano trio) - once weekly coaching with OCM chamber music faculty member, minimum once weekly ensemble rehearsal
Large Ensemble - leadership position in one of OCM large ensembles
Solfege - once weekly Solfege class (aural skills, theory, music history).

Selected student required to devote a minimum of two hours of daily practice. High Talent Scholarship students will be representing OCM in both state and national competitions, auditions, events and summer festivals.

High Talent Scholarship Sponsor receives:

OCM website and social media feature
Video feature with selected scholarship student
Recognition in all OCM concert programs and during any mentions of the selected scholarship student
Private solo performance of the scholarship student during any one event organized by the sponsor
Invitation to all performances of the High Talent Scholarship student
The knowledge, that the sponsor is positively affecting a selected students' education and future, highly contributing towards changing a life and championing talent, commitment and hard work of the student, and supporting the future generation of accomplished Oklahoma musicians

Chamber Ensemble Donor $4000

Chamber Ensemble Donor support one full year of one chamber ensemble. The ensemble will be either a string quartet (two violins, viola, cello), or a piano trio (violin, cello, piano). Students for each ensemble will be chosen by merit and commitment to chamber music. The ensemble will represent OCM in concerts, community events, competitions. Students of the ensemble will receive once weekly coachings from top OCM faculty and will be required to rehearse together minimum once per week, more often when preparing for events and competitions.

Chamber Ensemble Donor receives:

Naming rights for the ensemble. Ensemble can be named after the donors private name or company name, ex. "The Keller String Quartet", "The Devon String Quartet".
OCM website and social media feature
Video feature with the ensemble students
Recognition in all OCM programs and during any mentions of the student ensemble
Private event ensemble performance during any one event organized by the sponsor
Invitation to all performances of the ensemble
The knowledge, that the sponsor is positively affecting the chamber music education in Oklahoma, while championing talent, commitment and hard work of the ensemble, and supporting the future generation of accomplished Oklahoma musicians
