Pass by Dalton Royal on December 1st from 5-7 to chat with us, learn all our upcoming events, our current dogs, ask any questions you may have and you can get some merch and pick up your Merry Paws gift if you ordered one (we will have some if you want to buy one!). Part of our board and volunteers will be there and the first drink is on us! Please RSVP so we know how many people will come!
Story
This Giving Tuesday we want to celebrate High Energy Dogs! These dogs have exceptionally high levels of energy and require a significant amount of physical activity and mental stimulation to thrive.
High energy dogs often excel in activities that allow them to channel their energy, but they can also present challenges for owners who may struggle to meet their exercise and mental stimulation needs. If you own one of these dogs, we are in awe!
Unfortunately, during this animal welfare crisis, several of these dogs are struggling in shelter environments and are at risk of euthanasia around the country.
Rocky and Phoenix stories are a perfect example of high energy dogs going through the shelter system and we will highlight their journey during our Giving Tuesday campaign...stay tuned!
This Giving Tuesday we would like to have 40 new MCR Circle of Friends (monthly donors) that can donate $20/month. Your generosity is enabling us to do 1:1 behavior consultations to dog owners that are struggling with their pets and don't want to surrender them. You can make a direct impact on these families!
