Thank you for registering for our History Hike at Sanitas on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. (Rain date the following day, Wednesday, same time).

This email is long, but please read it, for important information for you to know before the hike.

This trailhead is .5 miles west of the intersection of 4th and Mapleton, in Boulder. It is on the south side of Mapleton, or Sunshine Canyon Dr., and there is a brown Open Space Mountain Parks sign at the entrance to the parking lot.

Please come early to find a parking spot.

I'll be in the parking lot at the Centennial Trailhead, near the restrooms, at 5:15 pm.

Refer to this link: https://bouldercolorado.gov/trailhead/centennial to find the trailhead and read important safety rules and regulations from City of Boulder Open Space Mountain Parks (OSMP). The parking lot where we'll meet is marked with a red teardrop on the map you see when clicking on Get Directions.

As always, be prepared for a hike. Wear boots or sturdy shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather. You may want to bring hiking poles, a pack to carry a rain jacket and whatever else you might need for a 2 hour hike. Don't forget your water!

Should the weather turn to rain, the hike will happen the following day Wednesday, May 24th, at the same time.
