Every year, Croatia produces remarkable young people — gifted singers, scientists, engineers, and artists — whose potential far exceeds the resources available to them. The Histrion Foundation exists to close that gap, one person at a time.

You may have heard of Roko Blažević. At 19, he represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest, captivating audiences across Europe. What fewer people know is that when he was accepted to the Los Angeles College of Music, the scholarship he earned only covered part of the cost. The Histrion Foundation helped make the rest possible. Today, Roko is studying Vocal Performance in Los Angeles — and on May 21st, 2026, he will host our Annual Gala at the Perch Rooftop Garden in Downtown LA, giving back to the very community that believed in him.

That is the Histrion story. We find talent. We remove the barriers. And we watch what happens next.

This year's gala takes place in the spirit of Croatian Heritage Month — a time when Los Angeles celebrates Croatian culture and community at its finest. The Consulate General of Croatia in Los Angeles is proud to support the evening, with Consul General Renee Pea personally leading guests through an exclusive Croatian wine tasting. But make no mistake: this is a Histrion Foundation event, driven by one purpose — and every dollar raised goes directly toward the next Roko, whoever and wherever they may be.
