Hitex / Ti2 Design Seneca Santa Holiday Fundraiser

We've teamed up with non-profit Seneca Santa, Inc from Watkins Glen, Schuyler County, NY to assist in distributing gifts to local kids ages 2 - 12 residing within Schuyler County.

Seneca Santa has been providing gifts to the local community since 1940 as a volunteer-run grassroots fundraising effort. Seneca Santa partners with local schools to select students based on needs through an application process. Expecting to support approximately 109 families and 247 children this year, Seneca Santa is in need of your help.

Here's how it works: Once we finish the fundraiser, funds usually take about 3-5 days to deposit in our Charity specific bank account. Once they land, we'll place the order with Jamis for the bikes and Quality Bicycle Parts for helmets. Bikes and helmets are delivered to the Main Street Bike Shop for assembly and then transported by the Burdett Vol. Fire Department for gifting. Seneca Santa will conduct the final presentation and gifting to the kids.

100% of all donations will be used to pay for bicycles and helmets.

Why Seneca Santa? Seneca Santa was chosen because Watkins Glen is the alma mater (class of 92) of Mike Bond from HiTex Gear / Ti2 Design. In addition to being an avid cyclist, Mike has the desire to give back to the same community from his childhood. The combination of hometown support and a collaboration with Main Street Bike Shop and Jamis Bikes created the perfect fit for this campaign.

Why Main Street Bike Shop? Owner John Compton, a long time friend of Mike, has been supporting the local community cyclists for many years and he has graciously offered to assemble and help execute the donation alongside his staff at Main Street Bike Shop.

Why Jamis Bikes? With a company culture that includes building better lives and making an impact, Jamis Bikes also has an impressive line of youth bikes that are designed to be light and easy to ride, specifically for kids. Jamis has offered us Dealer pricing to help our fundraising effort go the extra mile.
