For half a century, Holy Cross has stood as a pillar of faith, fellowship, and service in our community. This milestone gala is a tribute to all we have accomplished and a celebration of all that lies ahead. Together, we will reflect on the impact our church has had and look toward building an even stronger future—one rooted in faith, philanthropy and education for our youth, our parishioners and the broader community.

The mission of the church is to serve the people. “Christ did not come to be served, but to serve” (Matthew. 20:28). The love of God is not just an emotion, but it requires acts of love towards our brothers and sisters. “He who loves God, also loves his neighbor” (1 Jn. 4:21). This love is unified and indivisible. The philanthropy of God is the same love we are called to imitate in our lives.

At Holy Cross we envision a future focused on Philanthropy—supporting families in need, offering aid during life’s most challenging moments, and standing as a beacon of hope for our broader community. We will strive to deepen our commitment to the future generations by investing in ministry that cultivates faith, character, leadership, and connection. Through education, mentorship, and fellowship, we aim to empower young people to carry forward the light of our Orthodox faith with strength and purpose.

Together, let us honor the legacy and ignite the next chapter of impact, guided by faith and united by our love for humanity and love for God.
