Through this program we are able to create and encourage pollinator habitats, sustain local hives, advocate for preserving local pollinators, educate and provide resources for beekeeping and hive management, distribute Alaskan formulated wildflowers to the public to re-establish bee-friendly spaces in developed areas, and work towards our long-term goal of creating an Alaskan educational facility where all people can come to learn all about pollinators in Alaska. Increased food security depends on increased pollination of our crops and plants. We need your help to keep our food sources available. The bees of today save the foods of tomorrow.
