July 1st - Call For Submissions & Registrations open

September 15 - Final Uploads Due

October 24th - Design Awards Celebration

How to Enter:

Step 1

Register for the categories you plan to submit. You can register to nominate yourself or someone else

Step 2

Once you register, you will receive an email from marilyn@aiamiami.org which will contain the template, the link for your submittals and a unique code/number for each award you are submitting for.

Step 3

Upload your projects. Remember to put the code for each project on every page of the submission. Use the correct unique code for the correct project. 10mb is the size limit. ONLY upload Word or PDF documents.

Awards will be presented at the AIA Miami Design Awards Celebration on October 24, 2024.

Individuals are encouraged to nominate themselves and/or others by submitting the information requested below. Nominations will not be considered without supporting documentation.

1. Category for Nomination

2. Name of the Nominee

3. Description of why the nominee is deserving of this award (min. 300 words, to be attached and should not exceed one page)

4. Supporting documentation such as project pages, copies of awards or other recognition, bio, resume, etc. must be attached. Any project pages submitted shall be kept to one 8.5 x 11 page per project and should include images and text explaining why the project is applicable. Project pages are not required as not all award categories are project-based. Copies of awards or other documentation should include a brief description of why the information submitted is applicable. This section should not exceed 10 pages.

5. Applications (not to exceed 10 megabytes) will only be accepted electronically at marilyn@aiamiami.org in an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.

The AIA Miami Honor Awards are intended to encourage excellence in architecture, elevate public consciousness of good design, and recognize those architects whose work enriches our built environment.
