The 2021 southern peninsula earthquake destroyed thousands of homes, schools, and hospitals, and left thousands homeless, injured or dead. Located in Les Cayes, capracare was at the epicenter. Without haste, the mayor’s office, the New York Times, elected officials, and the global humanitarian community showed an incredible outpouring of support. Through this action, capracare was able to provide emergency health care, mental health support, food, and supplies to thousands in need. Now, we are commemorating those relief efforts which were so generously supported by donors like you.
