The Emergency Safe House Fund helps provide safety, stability, and support for survivors of domestic violence and their children across Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle. Through Family Support Services, this fund helps sustain emergency shelter and the critical services survivors often need during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Support from this fund helps provide safe shelter, meals, advocacy, counseling, safety planning, transportation assistance, hygiene items, children’s support services, and connection to long-term resources that help families begin rebuilding after abuse.

Throughout the year, and especially during the summer months, our shelter often experiences high demand as more individuals and families seek safety from dangerous situations. The Emergency Safe House Fund helps ensure survivors have access to compassionate, trauma-informed support and a safe place to turn when they need it most.
