At Ready for Life South Carolina, we walk alongside young adults who have aged out of the foster care system and are building stable, independent lives—some while raising children of their own.

These courageous young people are stepping into adulthood without the family support most of us take for granted. They are working to find safe housing, continue their education, build careers, learn life skills, and create healthy futures for themselves.

Through our Hope Starts Here campaign, your donation helps provide:

• Housing and stability support
• Mentorship and life-skills coaching
• Education and job readiness assistance
• Parenting support for those raising children
• Access to mental health counseling, including assistance with necessary medications
• Emergency needs and everyday essentials

I have had the privilege of walking alongside these young adults personally, and I have seen how one caring community can change the direction of a life.
