Hope Stays Open: A Community Blessing Campaign

When the government shuts down, hope doesn’t have to.

The Kriner Group Consulting is leading a new community effort called “Hope Stays Open” — a campaign to bless families affected by the federal government shutdown.

Many across our community are feeling the impact — from delayed federal paychecks and lost SNAP benefits to disruptions affecting our military households. This initiative steps in to help bridge the gap.

Affected families can register through HelloHuntsvilleTX.com to be entered into a weekly $100 Blessing Drawing.

First Drawing: November 7
Duration: 4 weeks (continuing into December, depending on available funds)
Eligibility: Proof required of being directly affected by the shutdown

Each week, selected families will receive $100 to help cover essentials like groceries, gas, or household needs. Kyle Kriner has committed to personally blessing four families to start — and the goal is to bless even more through community generosity.

How to Get Involved

Spirit Media and Hello Huntsville will be promoting the campaign across radio, web, and social media to encourage others to give. Every donation — large or small — helps expand the impact and keep hope open for families in need.

All requests for consideration and the information provided will remain 100% confidential. We understand that some families prefer to keep their circumstances private, and this process ensures their dignity is respected.
