Iowa Abortion Access Fund was created by a group of people who cared deeply about women's rights, bodily autonomy and access to abortion. Long before our large scale fundraisers and auctions we were gathering in homes, meeting with like-minded people and raising money and resources in a community driven and human centered way.

This year, with the generous hosting of Sam and Diana Jones, we are returning to the heart of things.

IAAF INFO:

Last year, the Iowa Abortion Access Fund provided nearly $400,000 in abortion and wraparound care to people across our state.

But that number only tells part of the story. Behind every dollar is a real person—facing a real decision, often under pressure, uncertainty, and time constraints.

Each month, we see an average of $20,000 in direct need. Our wraparound support—transportation, hotel stays, childcare, and more—adds another $5,000 monthly. We also invest $2,000 each month in administrative support through our sister fund, the Chicago Abortion Fund, which helps ensure no call goes unanswered.

We are sustained entirely by grants and private donations—and the need is not slowing down.

On average, we receive three calls a day from people seeking care. That’s over 1,000 individuals each year turning to the Iowa Abortion Access Fund for support.

Every call is different. Every story matters. And every single one requires resources.
