Today, you have given hope to a woman–a child–a family in D.C. who is on their healing journey to recover from the traumas of abuse and houselessness.

Because of your gift, House of Ruth provides the holistic, trauma-informed care that each woman and child needs and deserves.

You have invested in a journey that starts with safe, welcoming housing. Once there, each program participant partners with our dedicated staff to determine their goals. They then have access to a suite of support services such as financial literacy, job skills training, and group counseling.

House of Ruth also provides free counseling to empower anyone, regardless of gender, who is a survivor of trauma and abuse. Kidspace, our child and family development center, provides trauma-informed child care and parent support services.

All of these programs are provided at no-cost to over 1,000 women, children, and families each year. Because of your support.

Thank you for your partnership and shared commitment to our work.

With gratitude,

Sandra L. Jackson, D. Min., M.S.W., LICSW, LCSWC
