When the road throws you a curve, we’re here to help.

Unexpected breakdowns, medical issues, and sudden cash shortages can happen to anyone living the nomadic life.  Homes On Wheels Alliance (HOWA) created the Nomad Emergency Fund and Tent Grant programs so you don’t have to face those crises alone. Donating to the Emergency Fund ("E-Fund") allows HOWA to continue to help nomads out of emergency breakdown situations.

Homes On Wheels Alliance (HOWA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping people live safely and sustainably, no matter their income or housing situation. Founded by longtime nomads who understand the challenges of life on the road, HOWA provides direct support to those in need through grants, emergency assistance, and community education.
