Puerto Rican communities face extreme climate vulnerability. The Carbon League is helping accelerate microgrid deployment, festival electrification, and regulatory reform through place-based sprints.

Active Projects:

• Microgrid Development Task Force – Convening energy co-ops, permitting agencies, and community groups to resolve technical and legal barriers to community microgrids.

• City of Isabela Sustainability Campaign – Partnering with municipal leaders to replace diesel generators at public events with battery storage and build public support for electrification.
