About Holy Trinity Catholic School

Holy Trinity Catholic School is a school community from Pre-K through Grade 8 serving 200 families and 323 students supported by the parishioners of Holy Trinity and St. Stephen Parishes. Our Mission is to form disciples of Christ through faith formation, academic excellence, and character development while passing on the lifelong values and traditions of the Roman Catholic faith.

About our Raffle

Together, we raised over $51,600 from our Catholic Schools Week Tuition and Cash Raffle in the 2024-2025 and are excited to continue for our fourth year of this raffle. From November 14th through December 5th, students will be asked to sell $20 raffle tickets for entries to win a grand prize of FREE TUITION or $2,500 CASH! The fundraiser will kick off with a fun pep rally on November 14th and this year, our annual Raffle Fundraiser will be raising funds to purchase a new Reading curriculum series for Kindergarten through Grade 8!

Our Reading curriculum is 12 years old--and while good stories don't change, the resources that our teachers and students use do, and they are quite out of date. Teachers can no longer access any of the enrichment materials that go with the texts, and it does not align with the Orton-Gillingham phonics program that we are currently using. Additionally, teachers are excited about the new curriculum focusing on whole story learning instead of just snippets of novels or longer texts. Because this program builds with each grade level, students will have a comprehensive experience in developing their reading skills – and their love of reading!

We ask EACH student to help us meet our goal to ensure the fundraiser’s success. This will be the only time students are asked to sell something to fundraise specifically for the school. Any funds that are not expended for this effort will be placed in the school’s general operating budget for the area of greatest need.

THE ASK: Each student sells at least 10 tickets, yielding over $50,000.

Our goal will cover the new Reading curriculum and any funds raised beyond the cost of the curriculum will be allocated to an Area of Greatest Need, of which there are a few. Our building is aging and we have a few unpredictable areas! Our PA/Bell system is quite outdated–they have to call in “the one guy” who knows this system when we need maintenance. Our HVAC system shows its age in extreme weather–we had some warm classrooms to start the year as four units were inoperable while we waited for parts to arrive. Another good but unpredictable “problem” is that we have more students as our school is growing, and at the moment, we are out of desks!

This is why we are planning the extra Raffle funds to be for these Areas of Greatest Need–so that we can be flexible in our decision making and planning throughout the year. And while the first priority in this raffle is the new Reading curriculum, we will absolutely communicate any updates we make in the future, so that you know where the Area of Greatest Need funds were spent.

How It Works

Raffle tickets are sold for $20 each. We hope that each of our students will sell TEN tickets, which would make over $50,000 for our new Reading curriculum! As long as we sell at least 1,600 tickets, each ticket is eligible to win...

The GRAND prize of FREE TUITION for 2026-2027 school year (Estimated $5250 value) OR $2500 CASH.

Second prize = $750

Third prize = $250

4th - 10th prize = $50.

These ten prizes will be drawn on Friday, December 5th and announced LIVE on our school Facebook page! If less than 1,500 tickets are sold, payouts will be reduced to the amounts listed below in the "Fine Print" section.

Rewards for our Students

Top earning families will receive prizes from Thunderbolt's Raffle Crew! Each student who sells at least ONE ticket will be eligible for drawings to play fun games and earn prizes as well! School families have received information regarding incentives such as free dress days, donut parties, movie time, and video game parties!
