As the first affinity group of it’s kind at Howard University, the Jamaica Howard University Affinity Network (JHUAN) aims to be the gold standard for future groups on campus. We are building upon a more than 100 year legacy of Jamaican nationals thriving at Howard then going onto pursue distinguished careers. Our goal is to increase the pipeline of Jamaican students that matriculate through Howard University. We will accomplish this by inspiring Jamaican students to pursue their dreams of higher education, providing them with the necessary resources, and engaging them in a community of Howard scholars working toward positively impacting the global community.
