Honoring Reggie Butler's Legacy

On November 3, 2025, we lost an extraordinary human being, Reggie Butler, the visionary founder and CEO of Performance Paradigm. Our hearts are heavy, but our commitment to the work he devoted his life to remains unwavering.

For over three decades, Reggie touched 1.5 million people across the globe, not just through training, but through transformation. He believed deeply that “when individuals thrive, teams excel, and organizations reach their full potential.” His gift was creating experiences that fundamentally shifted how people showed up in the world.

Reggie’s approach was unlike anyone else’s. He used theater, music, storytelling, and the science of learning to craft “spaces that invited curiosity, expanded emotional capacity, and strengthened our ability to engage one another with intention.” Reggie's experiences were human encounters that changed lives..

His mantras became invitations to a different way of being:

• “I love you. People can hate people for no reason, so I can love people for no reason.”
• “We can all do better, be better, and care more.”
• “It’s about the learner.”

Each year, Reggie worked with more than 20,000 leaders across technology, finance, healthcare, professional services, aviation, automotive, consumer products, cultural institutions, police departments, and nonprofits. His impact doesn’t end...it expands. Every leader he coached is now coaching others. Every team he transformed is modeling new ways of being for those around them. You are part of that legacy.

Carrying Forward His Mission

Reggie’s boldest vision — Human Code Project — was his way of bringing transformation beyond corporate walls to the communities that need it most. Though he did not live to see it fully launched, his work continues through every one of us who carries his mission forward.
