On Wednesday, June 24th 2026, two powerful earthquakes have devastated Venezuela, leaving thousands of families in urgent need of shelter, medicine, food and clothing. BCG Universe is raising funds for essential supplies that will go directly to the people to support them.

For some background, Marcel Barragan, the founder of our non-profit, BCG Universe, is Venezuelan and most of our partners are Venezuelan, which is why this effort is so important. We have trusted friends living in Caracas who are advising us on what is needed and how we can get the needed supplies directly to the people that need them. This is so important for fundraising activities.

BE AWARE: When giving to charities that appear to support the earthquake relief in Venezuela, it's important to understand that in my cases, the Venezuelan government is taking the money and not helping Venezuelans. For example, even when you give to organizations like the Red Cross, which appears legitimate, the Venezuelan government is taking the money.

One of the government-owned buildings in Caracas had people inside when the earthquake happened is being guarded with no search and rescue since last week. Why? It's because the government has treasures in the building like gold, money, drugs etc worth millions of dollars.

The Venezuelan government is monitoring social media when they should be helping their people. Venezuelans including those living in the US and elsewhere cannot speak out about what's happened for fear that their passports will be revoked. But, we want to tell the truth and make people aware.
