The Humble Village

Your donation today helps with the following projects at The Humble Village:
-Urgently needed nourishment, health care training and services and education for indigenous families of Mayan descent (the Q’eqchis), who live in the highlands of Guatemala on less than $1 per day.
-Teaching women simple, sustainable methods to support maternal care, infant and child care, nutrition, clean water, hygiene, healthcare, and literacy.
-Village outreach programs and workers. Many indigenous Mayans living in rural areas are marginalized, and receive little or no help from their government. Few speak Spanish and they have extremely limited access to justice
and health services.
-Self-reliance through economic development. To help families create economic growth, we train and provide them with resources to start their own small business.
