Humm Productions and Mtn Craft Productions have pioneered a new media format called DocuPod™. DocuPods combine experiential and immersive short documentary films with engaging podcasts for a captivating 360-degree experience.

Our first DocuPod, "Beehold," tells the story of Charlie Koenen, a passionate beekeeper and environmental advocate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The project follows Charlie's dedication to environmental health, including his work to help local nuns revive their apple orchard and offer expertise on natural habitat management to golf courses and classrooms.

Originally founded as a for-profit company in 2019, Humm Productions transitioned to a nonprofit in 2022, leveraging its existing platform, audience reach, creative partnerships, and strategic marketing initiatives, to become a true asset to US communities - where we all live, play and work.

Humm has self-produced 30 podcasts and an award-winning DocuPod™, spotlighting 56 impactful US organizations. Our storytellers' diverse backgrounds and passions showcase the power of community in all its forms. Together, we can explore every corner of America by celebrating the capability and unique beauty of every community.  It's about the power of the human voice.
