The Understudies brings all the warmth and delight of A.A. Milne's beloved story to the stage this summer. Adapted by Bettye Knapp, "The House At Pooh Corner" follows Christopher Robin and his friends Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest as they run away together to avoid being sent off to this thing called Education. As the situation becomes clearer, Christopher Robin isn't quite so sure that running away is the answer.

The Spotlight Organization for this production is Safe Spot Child Advocacy Center. All shows will be performed at the Mayes Pit/Cohn Auditorium in Thompson Hall on the campus of Wilkes Community College. (1328 S. Collegiate Dr.; Wilkesboro, NC 28697)

Box Office opens 1 hour prior to show time and general seating begins 30 minutes before the performance.

Approximate run time is 90 minutes.
