Donations to Hunter's Fund make possible the expansion to more campuses and high schools our campaign to End distracted Driving. This program educates young people and ultimately saves lives.
The Fund has recruited over 1,000 volunteers at colleges and high schools across the country to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving, resulting in more than 25,000 students, parents, and other community members signing "Hunter's Pledge to End Distracted Driving." Behavioral studies have shown signing a pledge can change behavior by 47% more than any other incentive.
Hunter Watson lost his life as a passenger in a distracted driving accident just as he was to begin his junior year in college. The Hunter Brooks Watson Memorial Fund (Hunter's Fund), founded in his memory, most promising mission is to change the driving behavior of young people to reduce the loss of life and injuries as a result of distracted driving.
The 3 Dollar Challenge was created with the purpose of raising as much money as possible through $3 donations by using the power of social media to spread the word.
As a grassroots fundraising organization, we partner with nonprofits to help catalyze large scale viral campaigns that enact positive change and mobilize significant resources to support important causes.
