Founded in honor of Lee Hurt and Liza Waller-Hurt, the Foundation’s mission is to award financial scholarships to deserving students and to support charitable, health-focused organizations addressing causes such as diabetes, cancer, and mental health.
The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its specific purposes are:

-
To make charitable awards and donations to individuals and organizations engaged in educational, community, or other philanthropic activities.
-
To conduct other activities that advance and support the charitable mission of the Foundation.
