The Howell Mural Series

Help Launch the First Mural

We’re raising funds to launch the first in an ongoing series of community-shaped murals in Downtown Howell. This is more than paint on a wall. The goal is to fill our city with welcoming walls and make it easier to connect with local nonprofits.

Each mural invites people to share stories and inspiration, turning art into a way to connect with opportunities to help.

Thanks to a leadership gift from the Rotary Club of Howell, Phase One is already underway.

The first $50,000 launches the series and fully funds the first large-scale mural, planned for the Thai Cafe wall in Spring 2026. Each additional mural will be funded individually as the series continues.

Why It Matters

Through creativity, storytelling, and generosity, this project creates visible spaces where people feel seen, heard, and encouraged to do good.

Each mural works as a visual portal. During creation, people can share stories and ideas that help guide the artwork. Once complete, the murals make it easier to discover and connect with local nonprofits and ways to help.

Together, the murals tell our community’s stories and invite people to take part in what comes next.
