🌍 Year-End Fundraiser: Help Rebuild Hope for Munyaga Community Primary School

Goal: To raise funds to repair classrooms, build new desks, and provide essential school supplies for over 230 children in Butogota, Uganda.

💔 The Reality

In the small village of Munyaga, deep in the Kanungu District of Western Uganda, stands a school that has been holding on—literally.
Munyaga Community Primary School, founded in 2011 by 40 caring community members under the Munyaga Bataka Kweyamba Association, was built from mud, thatch, and handmade red clay bricks.

Today, the school serves 230 children with 6 teachers and 1 cook—but the classrooms are collapsing.

• Many walls are cracked, with large holes or made from reeds and wood.

• Desks are broken or missing—many children kneel on the dusty floor to write.

• Teachers often go months with little or no pay.

• Many students are orphans or come from families who cannot afford the small term fees of $50–$70.

• Girls face extra barriers: early marriages, and pressures to drop out.

Despite it all, the teachers keep showing up.
Despite it all, the children still come—dreaming of learning, of hope, of a future.

💡 Our Vision

This year, through Raising a Girl to the World, Inc. and our Ugandan partner Raising Girl’s Foundation Co. Ltd., we are launching a Year-End Fundraiser to give this school—and its students—a chance at a brighter future.

With your help, we can:

• Rebuild and repair crumbling classrooms

• Provide new desks and chairs so no child has to kneel to learn

• Supply books, pens, and learning materials

• Support teachers with small stipends and meals

• Create a clean, safe learning space that inspires hope

🎯 Our 2025 Goal: $5,000

Every gift makes an impact:

• 🧱 $50 – Buys classroom bricks or cement for repairs

• ✏️ $75 – Provides books and pens for 10 children

• 🪑 $100 – Builds one new desk and bench for 3 students

• 🏫 $1,000+ – Helps rebuild a classroom
