Support Gabriel's trip to Rio Salado Rowing Camp

We are thrilled to announce that DSC junior athlete, Gabriel, has been selected to attend an Intermediate Sculling Camp, Jan. 24-26th at the Rio Salado Rowing Club in Tempe, AZ, guided by renowned coach Kevin MacDermott, Associate Director at world-famous Craftsbury Sculling Center and long-time coach at Trinity College.

This camp, typically catering to adults, has graciously opened its arms to welcome Gabriel—a testament to his passion, dedication, and growing talent in the sport. It’s a remarkable opportunity for him to further his skills, gain invaluable experience, and represent the dedication we all share at Delta Sculling Center.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help Gabriel make the most of this incredible opportunity. The funds raised will assist Gabriel's family in covering travel expenses, including roundtrip flights to Arizona, a rental car, and other related costs. Delta Sculling Center is proudly sponsoring Gabriel's camp tuition, while accommodations have been generously provided by Bob Oprandy's sister Susan.

Gabriel’s commitment to rowing and his positive spirit make him a role model for other youth athletes. By supporting him, we are not only investing in his future but also inspiring the next generation of rowers to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals.
