On behalf of the board of directors, thank you for the recent donation in support of the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and this email will serve as confirmation of your donation for tax purposes.

Your support makes it possible for the Aviation Museum to carry out its mission of inspiring the young (and the young at heart) about the magic of flight, and preserving the region’s rich aviation history. We do this with a year-round series of programs, exhibits, and activities.

Our education program strives to introduce students at all levels to the science of aviation as well as the long history of man’s quest for powered flight. Our aim is to augment STEM subjects such as math and science with exposure to the real-life world of aviation and aeronautics. Besides fostering a love of aviation in young people, we also strive to assist them with finding pathways into the field, regardless of any economic or social hurdles.

Your support enables us to run programs such as our innovative student plane-building partnership with the Manchester (N.H.) School of Technology. The high school students enrolled in this specialized course have completed their first RV-12iS light sport aircraft, a popular kit-based airplane designed by the Van’s Aircraft Co. Now that it’s finished, the plane will be sold on the open market, with the proceeds used to fund subsequent plane builds at the school.
