A message from Denise herself:

This summer I am running an exciting international project series Summer Nights, which is a glimpse into the innovative and collaborative practices I have been cultivating over the last decade with long time and new collaborators. I will lead classes, open rehearsals, public presentations, and site specific performances that further my performance art research in experimental forms, Active Translation, and embodied dramaturgy. With international residencies and select public sharings throughout summer 2025, you can engage as a spectator, collaborator, and supporter of my practice. 

The cost of presenting to the public at a partner venue, including rental and operational expenses, is approximately $1,000 per presentation. Your support—at any level—would not only make this project possible but also strengthen international artistic collaboration. Donations to support this project are fully tax-deductible and will be accepted through Teatro Vista Productions on our behalf. Your contribution will directly fund artist stipends, travel, production costs, and community outreach.

If you have more to share, we would be delighted to partner with you as a presenter, sponsor, or co-producer to bring this dynamic work to life in association with Teatro Vista Productions, a nonprofit dedicated to multidisciplinary artists of color. Teatro Vista champions the power of storytelling to foster cross-cultural connections. With your partnership, we aim to engage Chicago’s Italian, Latine, and culture-loving communities.

We offer several sponsorship levels to acknowledge and celebrate our partners:

1. Vivere Supporter – $100
   Vivere means "to live"—because theatre brings stories to life! Supporters will be printed in all event programs and playbills.

2. Ponte Patron (Presenter) – $500
   Ponte means "bridge," symbolizing the connection between Italian and Chicagoan artistry. As a Presenter, Ponte Patrons will be listed in the playbill and digital marketing.

3. Maschera Patron (Sponsorship) – $1,000
   Named after the iconic maschere of Italian theatre, this Sponsorship level honors your investment in Italian storytelling. Maschera Patrons receive recognition in the playbill, digital marketing, and posters.

4. Proscenio Benefactor (Co-Producer) – $1,500
   Inspired by the proscenium, a window to the heart of theatrical performance. As a Co-Producer, Proscenio Benefactors receive playbill, digital, and poster recognition, plus an invitation to an exclusive aperitivo with Carolina Migli Bateson & Denise Yvette Serna before a performance.
