For months, Kirby — a stunning 2-year-old bi-eyed Shepsky — sat unnoticed in a California shelter.
No networker posts.
No shares.
No inquiries.
Just a cold cement kennel, day after day.

He arrived at San Bernardino City Shelter on 9/18/25.
His stray hold ended 9/22/25.
And then… nothing.
Just silence, stress, and slowly declining hope.

Shelter staff warned us he was at high risk of kennel stress:

chronic anxiety
depression
long-term behavioral decline

Dogs like Kirby shut down.
They stop engaging.
They lose themselves.

But the second his face hit our feed, everything changed.

Kirby is officially a Woof Tribe save — and his new life has finally begun.

He has been social with shelter staff and has been kenneled with other dogs.
He may show minor resource guarding — totally normal in a shelter environment and usually improves quickly in a stable home.

🚚 WHERE HE’S HEADED

Kirby is scheduled to head to Henniker, New Hampshire next week —
but he is STILL in CA right now and can be transported anywhere in the U.S.
If his forever family steps up in time, we will get him home.
