The funds from this event will go directly to the Veterans Final Wish Fund. This fund was created to help grant the final wishes of Veterans who are in-patient at Mather VA and at end of life.

Until this fund was created, the staff at Mather VA were taking money out of their own pockets to grant these wishes for the Veterans. W.I.S.H. Charity Inc. is the only contributor to this fund. An example of the humble final wishes are blankets, burgers, even Fig Newtons.

Some of the ways the previously donated funds have been used are, providing candlelight dinners for the Veterans and their loved ones. Sending a Veteran on a final trip to see loved ones to say goodbye. Purchasing fans for the Veterans to use in their rooms. And purchasing "Comfort Carts" which hold supplies and refreshments for loved ones who are sitting "vigil" with the Veteran, so they don't pass alone.
