Families in Muko, Uganda survive on about $1.79 per day, leaving many unable to afford tuition or school supplies... education matters.

When a child learns, a family rises.  When a community learns, poverty ends and education is the first step out of poverty.

• Going to school protects young girls from child marriages and sexual abuse.
• Nutrition, physical health, and general well-being all increase with school attendance. 

For only $300 a year, $25 a month, and less than a $1 a day a child can go to primary or secondary school for one year. In 2025, 155 children are attending school on an ACT HONOR Scholarship.   We have a bold goal of 40% increase by adding 70 new scholarships.  Our students depend on your ongoing annual commitment to complete their education through high school.
