The United States Coast Guard, and the Tampa Bay Council of the Navy League (NLUS) are delighted to invite you be a part of history. The commissioning of the USCGC PABLO VALENT [WPC 1148] will be held May 11th, 2022 in Tampa. The special event includes a dinner party for the crew and ships sponsors on May 10th and a reception immediately following the commissioning on the 11th.

We invite you to join us in this opportunity to support America’s newest fast response cutter USCGC PABLO VALENT. The ship will be commissioned in the St. Petersburg. Commissioning events will be held at Sector St. Petersburg. The ship will then be assigned to our community and serve out of Sector St. Petersburg under the Atlantic Area District 7. Your contribution enables the Tampa community to provide a well deserved historic event to be remembered. It is also a way to say thank you to these women and men for their invaluable service to us all. We are grateful for each and every contribution.

As a 501(c)3 non profit organization, the Tampa Bay Navy League (NLUS) relies on the generosity of our sponsors to fund the numerous programs supported by our organization. Programs include sponsoring US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, NJROTC Corps, ship commissionings, and various support of our Active Duty Navy, Marine, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine Service men and women.

Excess revenue will be used to support Sea Service members and their familes, Operation Homefront, Navy Safe Harbor’s Adaptive Athletics program,and Navy participation in Warrior Games; local youth programs that support the sea services, such as the Naval Sea Cadets, High School NJROTC/MCJROTC, USF/UF NROTC, including scholarships for the new National Flight Academy in Pensacola
