About Birthline of Loveland

Birthline of Loveland stands in the gap for pregnant women and young families facing crisis in Northern Colorado. Public programs provide medical care — but they cannot respond to the realities that push families to the edge: homelessness, isolation, disability, transportation barriers, and overwhelming stress during pregnancy and early parenting.

Our Resource Center meets families the moment crisis hits. Advocates provide relational support, parenting education, pregnancy and infant supplies, guided referrals, and help navigating complex systems — preventing panic from becoming despair. When a situation involves housing instability, families can transition into our confidential maternity home, where mothers receive up to 18 months of safe housing, structure, trauma-informed care, and life-skills mentoring.

This year alone, we helped multiple mothers remain safely with their newborns — including women like Sarah and Izabela, whose situations might otherwise have resulted in separation. We also walked alongside another mother who courageously chose adoption, ensuring her baby was welcomed into a loving, prepared family while she continued to receive care, dignity, and support.

Behind each story is a community that shows up. In 2025, volunteers contributed more than 7,000 hours of service — the equivalent of 3.4 full-time staff. Mothers find stability. Babies stay with their families when it’s safe to do so. And when adoption is chosen, it is surrounded by compassion and honor.

Birthline is the only program in Northern Colorado designed to keep mothers and newborns together when homelessness threatens separation — while also providing the education, advocacy, and basic needs support that prevent crises in the first place. For local businesses, supporting Birthline is not simply charity — it is a strategic investment in prevention, family stability, and the future health of our community.
