Meet Pablo. Eleven years ago Pablo was shot in the neck by a drunken man who mistook him for someone else. Pablo was paralyzed from the neck down and has been a quadriplegic ever since. He lives with his mother in a humble home in the mountains outside of Marcala. He had not seen a doctor or nurse in seven years, until our recent visit. He lies on an old chaise lounge with a leaking water bed (a small medical-type waterbed) with only his mother to provide his care.

We have worked with many paraplegics and quadriplegics in Honduras and with these basic necessities we can start to make a real impact in the quality of Pablo's life.
