United Way of Alamance County invites you to a special virtual workshop designed to deepen our community’s understanding of the North Carolina 2-1-1 system and how it serves residents and local agencies across Alamance County.

Many community members are aware of 2-1-1, but fewer understand how the system works, what it’s designed to do, and how to use it effectively. This session is an opportunity to clear up common misconceptions, align expectations, and build confidence in the vital role 2-1-1 plays in connecting people to resources.

During this workshop, representatives from United Way of North Carolina will:

Introduce the NC 2-1-1 team
Provide an in-depth overview of the 2-1-1 program—how it operates, what services it offers, and how it supports the needs of Alamance County residents
Share local data, call trends, and insights specific to Alamance County
Highlight how agencies and partners can better collaborate with 2-1-1 to support the community
