When I was just 4 years old, I received a tick bite that would change my life forever! I am now 12. After many years of misdiagnosis, I was finally tested for Lyme Disease! I now have Chronic Lyme along with other co-infections that I will fight for the rest of my life!
I have always been active! I knew I was sick when I didn’t want to do CrossFit or gymnastics. Since being treated, I have been able to start playing basketball but it still knocks me down for days. I am fighter and wants to continue to be active when I can.
My mom and I volunteer for Lyme Warrior and will be competing in a virtual obstacle course! We live on a farm and will be building a miniature course to complete!
I am also going to complete certain fun activities (see below) based on how much I raise through donations!
If I raise:
$100 - wear lime green pjs all day around town
$250 - Let Molly (sister) do my hair and make up blindfolded
$500 - dye part of my hair lime green
$750 - I will record me singing “Warrior” by Avril Lavigne and post it on YouTube.
$1000 - complete a 5K run/walk
We will film me and my siblings completing the obstacle course in October and it will be on my MadeLyme YouTube Channel!
