Atlanta Beautification Committee
The Atlanta Beautification Committee founded by Craig Galanos is a community-driven initiative dedicated to enhancing the city's visual appeal and preserving its historic and cultural integrity. In partnership with The Chad Livsey Project (CLP), the committee focuses on graffiti removal and restoration efforts, ensuring that Atlanta’s streets, neighborhoods, and public spaces remain clean, welcoming, and reflective of the city's vibrant spirit.
Through volunteer-powered cleanups, mural preservation projects, and public art advocacy, the committee works to balance artistic expression with community pride. By removing unwanted graffiti from businesses, parks, and historic landmarks, the Atlanta Beautification Committee helps maintain the aesthetic charm of the city while promoting sustainable and responsible urban beautification efforts.
Together with CLP, the committee engages local businesses, residents, and organizations to foster civic pride and create long-lasting solutions for keeping Atlanta beautiful. Through this collaboration, they aim to empower communities, reduce vandalism, and support initiatives that contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable urban environment.
